Edward Eric Dunn Sr., 54 of Locust Grove, passed away Wednesday, Marc. 4, 2015 at Mary Washington Hospital with his family at his side. Edward was born on May 10, 1960 to Jesse Lee and Kathleen (Williams) Dunn in Fayetteville, NC. He moved with his family to Dale City, VA as a child. Before graduating from Garfield H.S., Edward began the Cedar internship program with the Prince William County Public Schools custodial department. Upon graduating, he became a fulltime employee with them, where he was still employed at the time of his passing. He met Angelia Luerese Johnson there in Dale City where they married on November 18, 1989. They moved to the Locust Grove, VA area in May 2007.
Survivors include: his wife, Angie; his Children; Aleshia Hayes (Richard), Edward “Eric” Jr., and Brianna; Grandson, Travis Hayes; his mother, Kathleen Dunn; 5 brothers, Bernard, Anthony, Gregory, Charles, Dwight; 2 sisters Barbara Dunn, Helen Neptune; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, from 6 pm to 8 pm, and funeral services on Thursday, March 12, at 1 pm, at the funeral home.
