Potomac Nationals move to playoffs, students head back to school and area pools close.
There's a change in the air.
Not only has Starbucks brought back their fall favorite, pumpkin spice latte, but other signs point to the end of summer.
Potomac Nationals will finish out the last home game of the regular season today at 1 p.m., but the season isn't over yet. The P-Nats will continue on to the Carolina League playoffs after clinching a spot with a second-half championship. The Mills Cup Championship game will begin in Frederick, MD at 7 p.m., the teams will play at Pfitzner Stadium on Wednesday for game three.

Tomorrow, Prince William County area schools start back for the 2010-2011 school year. Woodbridge Patch will keep you up-to-date on all the forms your children might forget at school. Outdoor community and neighborhood pools close today, but indoor pools are still available year-round at the Chinn Aquatics & Fitness Center. Catch your last day of outdoor pool slide fun at Veterans Park pool, opening at 12 noon today.
