Polyphonix Records, the Woodbridge High School student-run record label, is proud to present, "Simply You," a CD Release Concert featuring singer/songwriter Kurtis Goad. Goad is a senior at Woodbridge High School enrolled in the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts(CFPA) program. He has previously been featured by Polyphonix Records on multiple compilations. On November 10 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium, Kurtis Goad will be performing songs from his first solo EP entitled, "Simply You." He will be accompanied by vocalist Barbara Ballve, also a senior, as well as various other student musicians.
Admission is $5 and includes a copy of the CD. A portion of the profits from the concert will be given to "To Write Love on Her Arms" (TWLOHA). TWLOHA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide.
