VDOT Public Hearing

VDOT has announced they will be hosting a public hearing on Thursday, March 24, 5-8pm, to receive the public’s feedback on the proposed design of the North Woodbridge Interchange.  The construction project will expand Route 1 from 4 to 6 lanes from Mary’s Way to Annapolis Way; add sidewalks, trails, and landscaped medians in the area, and eventually raise Route 123 some 23-feet high over Route 1 and the CSX train tracks.  If you have concerns, this is your chance to get on the record so that they may be addressed by VDOT.
