Gerrina Lynn Finkhousen, 35

Gerrina Lynn Finkhousen born March 12, 1980 passed away at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA succumbing to her battle with breast cancer on August 28th, 2015.

She was the financial management analyst for the Northern Regional Dental Command at Fort Belvoir, VA. Gerrina was married November 17th, 2012 to her loving husband, work companion and dearest friend Christopher Finkhousen, who survives. She was the mother of two beautiful children, Gabrielle “Gabby” Abrea Chisley, and Jonathan Daniel Finkhousen.

The eldest of four children, Gerrina was a shinning example of love, diligence and fortitude to her siblings Gerald Baugh, Mekia Baugh, and Nicole Baugh to whom she taught the importance of the family bond, having been preceded in death by her parents Gerald West and Cynthia Baugh.

Gerrina will be grievously missed by her mother and father-in-law Daniel and Carrie Finkhousen, her brothers-in-law Benjamin Finkhousen, and Aaron Finkhousen with his wife Mary and their son Samuel.

The family will receive friends at the MOUNTCASTLE TURCH FUNERAL HOME, 4143 Dale Boulevard, Dale City, VA 22193 on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 11 AM until time of her Life Celebration at 12 Noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
