It Won't Rain ALL Week, Hopefully: Virginia Weather Forecast

Noticed that the rain clouds have been tough to shake? Get used to it.

This week is full of the "chance of showers" line.

The two best chances for showers: Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, and then again on Friday, when a thunderstorm may also be possible. Highs will stay in the 70s for most of the week.

For the weekend, we'll be back to that "chance of showers." With temperatures cooling into the mid 60s.

Here's the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Monday: A chance of showers after 9am. Increasing clouds, with a high near 67. West wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Tuesday: A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 69. East wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Wednesday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Thursday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Friday: Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 9am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 73. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
