Jimmie Lee Majette transitioned from this physical plane peacefully at home on Saturday, December 20, 2014.
He is survived by his wife Faye Jones Majette, his son, Jimmie Lee Johnson and his granddaughter, Kimiko Johnson.
He was born July 15, 1952 in Occoneechee Township, Northampton County, NC. He grew up in Cove City, NC. He graduated from New Bold High School before joining the Army where he proudly served his country for five years. Jimmie was master craftsman, a trained draftsman, a self-employed hardwood flooring contractor and a long-term resident of Woodbridge, VA.

The wake will be held at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Boulevard, Woodbridge, VA 22192 on December 26, 2014, 6-8 p.m. The memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 at Miller Funeral Home followed by a repast at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 13020 Telegraph Road, Woodbridge, VA 22192.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Jimmie Majette.
