Joan Hall Shannon, 79 of Woodbridge, VA passed away November 6, 2014. She was born March 22, 1935 in Brooklyn,NY the daughter of the late John and Mary (Murphy) Henson. Joan was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Hall. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence S. Shannon; her children, Patricia Embree of Greenwood, Arkansas, Carol Bone of W.Palm Beach, FL., Ceresa Bullard of Marionville, MO, Russell Hall of Green City, MO., Michael Hall of Milan, MO; step children, Constance Noland of Independence, MO., Katherine Gray of Dale City, VA., Lynn Bailey of Stafford, VA., Steve Shannon of Walkerton, VA and David Shannon of Abbington, MD; 8-grandchildren, 16-great grandchildren, 8-step grandchildren and 2-step great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 8, at 10am in Holy Family Catholic Church.
