Kaiser Permanente Opening Health Center In Woodbridge
Kaiser Permanente plans to open another medical complex in the region by 2021, this one in Woodbridge.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — Kaiser Permanente plans to open another medical complex in the region by 2021, this one at 13285 Minnieville Road in Woodbridge, according to a release. The five-story, 241,357-square-foot medical center will be the seventh major Kaiser Permanente "hub" in the region.
"We are excited to open a new multi-specialty medical center, which will include a broad array of clinical services such as an integrated multidisciplinary cancer care and a comprehensive women and maternal health program," said Kim Horn, regional president of Kaiser Permanente, in the release.
"Our new medical center will highlight our integrated health system by offering primary care and specialty services in one convenient location. It will be tailor-made to support our members while they are healthy or if they develop complicated disorders or chronic diseases by offering the most up-to-date methods and technology to quickly diagnose and treat disorders and diseases."

The new hub will be equipped with the most innovative and advanced health care technology designed to enhance each patient's care experience, according to the release. Members can use Kaiser's suite of telehealth services with physicians in the medical center.
Kaiser Permanente will open three new medical centers in Virginia this year. The 40,000-square-foot Alexandria Medical Center at The Exchange in the Potomac Yard area of Alexandria opened in April. The 38,375-square-foot Colonial Forge Medical Center, which will be located on the Stafford Hospital campus, and the 36,423-square-foot Haymarket Crossroads Medical Center, which will be conveniently located near I-66, will both open later this year.
