Lift Every Voice and Sing at 30th Annual King Oratorical Program

Youth from throughout the community lift their voices and sing in the MLK Community Choir (Prince William County Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc)

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Choir organizers need children in grades kindergarten through 12th, public school, private school and home school, to sing in the choir. No auditions required and rehearsals will be provided. Children from throughout Prince William County, Manassas City, and Manassas Park area, from every village, hamlet, mountain and molehill are welcomed and encouraged to participate in this commemoration of the life and work of Dr. King.

The choir is an integral part of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Oratorical program which will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hylton Memorial Chapel in Woodbridge, VA.

Friday, January 17, 2020-First Baptist Church, 9258 Center Street, Manassas; 7 to 9 p.m.

Saturday, January 18, 2020-Hylton Memorial Chapel, 14640 Potomac Mills Road, Woodbridge, VA 22192; 9 to 11 a.m.

The choir is under the musical direction of Ivory Lawrence Coleman. For more information and to sign up, please email PWC.MLKCommunityChoir@gmail.com Students who volunteer in the choir may earn up to 25 hours for community service.
