Man Seriously Injured in Woodbridge Neighborhood Stabbing
The victim of a stabbing is being treated for serious injuries after a passerby found him on Darbydale Avenue Friday afternoon.
Police are investigating the stabbing of a man on Darbydale Avenue in Woodbridge around 5:30 Friday, Oct. 3.
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at the 14700 block of Darbydale Avenue in Woodbridge.
An investigation revealed the victim, a 35-year-old Woodbridge man, was walking in the area when he was approached and stabbed from behind by an unknown suspect.

The victim was able to get away from the assailant before collapsing, according to police. A passerby located the victim and contacted police.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. It was initially believed the victim possibly knew the suspect, though further questioning revealed the victim never saw the suspect.
