New Photography Group Comes to Woodbridge

A new photography interest group has made its home in Woodbridge. The Prince William Professional Photographers group, organized by Philip Brasch, meets monthly at Potomac Community Library for lectures and discussion of their craft.

Recently, the group was accepted by the Northern Virginia Alliance of Camera Clubs, a photography group that promotes cooperation and communication among area camera clubs.

The group's first informative lecture will take place tomorrow, Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. in the library's community room. Maryland photographer James Roy will share his experiences from a 25-year-long career in photography.

Organized through Meetup.com, a worldwide network of local groups, Prince William Professional Photographers plans their public meetings on an online forum -- and all are welcome to attend.
