Northern Virginia Weather: First Reported Snowfall Totals

The first measurable snow for most of Northern Virginia arrived Saturday morning and continued well into Saturday afternoon. As of noon, there had only been three crashes in the region, with 23 disabled vehicles reported, according to Virginia State Police.

The worst of the snowfall came in Richmond and areas to the south and east of our region, but we still saw measurable snow in some parts of Northern Virginia.

In Caroline County, an sheriff's deputy was injured in an early-morning crash with a suspected DUI driver, according to the Virginia State Police.
