A woman who was hit by a car on Monday, June 2, has died from her injuries.
Barbara Naguitt, 53, of Woodbridge died Monday, June 9, Prince William County police reported.Â
Naguitt was hit as she started to cross the 2300 block of Opitz Boulevard (near the hospital) in Woodbridge by the driver of a 2000 Nissan Xterra who was making a right turn onto Opitz Boulevard.

The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene and was charged at the time of the incident. Alcohol, speed and drug use were not factors in the accident, according to police. The driver may face additional charges.
