In a typical year, observers under a clear dark sky can expect to see up to 100 meteors per hour. But the planet Jupiter recently nudged the debris from the Swift-Tuttle comet closer to Earth, which could mean up to 150 meteors per hour the night of Aug. 11-12. >>> Read more.

Popular Mexican restaurant chain Chipotle will have to pay up to an employee who was fired from a D.C. restaurant after she became pregnant. A jury awarded Doris Garcia Hernandez $550,000 in compensatory and punitive damages.
After Garcia told her manager she was pregnant back in 2011, the suit claims that he started restricting her water and bathroom breaks, and eventually fired her when she went to a pre-natal doctor's appointment without his approval. >>> Read more.
