Potomac Nationals Seal Deal with F.H. Furr for Future Woodbridge Stadium
Manassas-based F.H. Furr will serve as the new $30 million stadium's first founding partner.

The Potomac Nationals announced Monday the club has entered a long-term joint venture with Manassas-based F.H. Furr to provide exclusive plumbing, heating, air conditioning and electrical services at the team’s long-awaited future stadium.
F.H. Furr will also serve as the naming rights sponsor for fan entranceways including the Home Plate Gate and Center Field Main Entrance.
The Nationals are still seeking a naming rights sponsor to anchor the proposed $30 million Woodbridge stadium. Nationals owner Art Silber announced plans for the new 6,000-seat ballpark in the summer of 2012. The park was scheduled to open in 2015 but has since been pushed to 2016 at the earliest, Inside Nova reports.

The new stadium will be constructed in a wooded, six-acre site between Wegmans and Opitz Boulevard in Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center. Plans for the new ballpark include a ground-level entry way, a second-story “club level” with a fine-dining restaurant open year-round, and a third-level “party deck” featuring a crab shack, beer garden and children’s playground.
“F.H. Furr Gates” will flank the stadium along with exterior stadium signage on a founding partner placard and a digital marquee facing Interstate-95, among other advertising and promotional opportunities.

“The Potomac Nationals cannot be more proud of the relationship that has developed over the years with F.H. Furr and we are extremely excited that they will be a founding partner, and driving force towards bringing our new stadium home to Prince William County,” says P-Nats Vice President and general manager, Josh Olerud.
Financial terms of the multi-year deal and the length of the agreement will not be disclosed, according to a press release.
