Prince William County Schools Awarded Grant Money
Federal grant received by way of Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools program.

U.S. Department of Education awarded the Prince William County Schools division with a $672,155 federal grant through the Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools program.
The money will be used over the next two years for maintaining and sustaining resources in the areas of emergency preparedness. Specifically, Prince William County Schools will distribute the grant amongst prevention-mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery emergency programs.
Grants distributed to 98 school districts in 28 states amass to a grand total of over $28.8 million.
