Prince William Residents Recognized for Volunteer Work

Prince William Clean Community Council presented awards on Friday.

Prince William Clean Community Council’s (CCC) held its 4th Annual Volunteer Appreciation Event Friday in honor of all of their dedicated volunteers across all six of their programs.

The event also featured the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the Clean Shopping
Center program along with the Volunteer of the Year Award. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Clean Shopping Center winners were: Potomac Mills Mall, Lake Ridge Commons and Shops at County Center. The Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to Walter Skaja for his individual and combined efforts with Cub Scout Pack 1384.

Members of the Prince William County Board of Supervisors were on hand to praise volunteers for the commitment to a cleaner Prince William County, including Chairman Stewart who presented awards for program participation and for the Volunteer of the Year.
