Prince William Vaccine Update: Accepting Walk-Ins In Manassas

The Prince William Health District will accommodate walk-ins at its Manassas Mall clinic this week, according to a recent update.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — The Prince William Health District will administer the Moderna coronavirus vaccine to residents who walk in to the Manassas Mall clinic this week. No appointment is necessary, the health district said.

The Manassas Mall is located at 8300 Sudley Road in Manassas. To find the clinic, residents should enter the mall between the Uptown Alley entertainment center and Macy's. The entrance is near the intersection of Sudley Road and Rixlew Lane.

Once inside, those interested in an appointment should turn right. The clinic is at the first door on the left.

The Manassas Mall clinic will accept walk-ins from Monday to Saturday this week. However, the open appointment hours vary each day.

    • 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

    • 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 15
    • 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 16
    • Closed.

The clinic will administer the Moderna vaccine, which is approved for residents aged 18 or older. People who are 16 or 17 years old are approved for the Pfizer vaccine, which is offered and different clinics and pharmacies across the county.

According to the health district's vaccine dashboard, more than 160,000 people across the health district have been fully vaccinated. 40 percent of residents in the City of Manassas, the City of Manassas Park, and Prince William County are fully vaccinated.

More than 200,000 first doses of the coronavirus vaccines have been administered to residents of the Prince William Health District. 54.3 percent of the jurisdiction is at least partially vaccinated, the health district said.

The Prince William Health District no longer requires preregistration for the coronavirus vaccine. Instead, residents can schedule their own appointments online.

Virginia residents can use the Vaccine Appointment Scheduling Engine to find an appointment through the health district. Alternatively, residents can use the federal vaccine finder tool to find a coronavirus vaccine from a pharmacy or other healthcare provider.
