U.S. Post Office Extends Hours in Woodbridge
You'll have a little more time to ship those presents on last day for first class and priority mail delivery.
If you’re planning to ship those presents at the last minute, the last minute has arrived.
The Postal Service recommends the following mailing and shipping deadlines:
- December 20 - First Class Mail
- December 20 - Priority Mail
- December 23 - Priority Mail Express
And you’re not alone. The Woodbridge Post Office will have extended hours Saturday to meet demand.

The office at 3360 Post Office Road in Woodbridge will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20.
Other locations with extended hours include the Alexandria Main Office, Fairfax Chantilly Office, Winchester Office and the Merrifield Post Office.
