Reported Police Incidents, Aug. 20: Old Bridge Road Temporarily Closed

A 43-year-old Woodbridge man reported to Prince William County Police that he and his stepson, the accused, were in a verbal argument on Aug. 18. The victim reported that his stepson hit him in the face, no medical attention was required. Schulyer Paul Ahrens, 26, of 4871 Benecia Ln. in Dumfries, VA was arrested in regards to the incident.

Old Bridge Road was shut down yesterday afternoon due to a car accident between Old Bridge and Harbor roads. Police reported that a driver of a 2002 Honda Civic lost control of the car and struck a transformer box. As a result of the crash, power was out to the residences and businesses in the surrounding area. Prince William County Police are conducting an investigation.
Gang-related graffiti and vandalism were reported at the Rolling Brook Apartments last night. Police investigation revealed that unknown persons had written graffiti on dumpsters and one of the complex buildings.
