PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — Capone is a six-year-old Pit Bull at the Prince William County Animal Shelter who is looking for a partner in crime. This handsome guy wants to bring his radiant smile and playful attitude to a forever home.

Capone was already crate trained and house trained by his previous owner, the animal shelter said. However, he does not get along well with male dogs or cats. Capone might be best suited as the only dog in a home, as he has trouble communicating with other dogs.

"In general, he is a smart boy," the animal shelter said. "He knows basic commands like 'sit' and 'shake' and his favorite trick is to army crawl in the grass."

Capone is sweet, but a little goofy, the animal shelter noted. He is full of energy and is very excitable. Sometimes he gets too excited and jumps on people, so he may be best suited for a home without young children.

Capone has a unique way of showing how much he loves his toys. "He loves his toys a bit too much," the animal shelter said. "He will destroy them."

With his high energy, Capone would be a great hiking or jogging partner for an active adult.

The Prince William County Animal Shelter's dog kennel is now open for general visitation without an appointment. The number of visitors at one time may be limited.

More information about Capone and other adoptable animals is available on the Prince William County Animal Shelter's website. The animal shelter is located at 14807 Bristow Rd, Manassas, VA 20112.
