Input about possible changes to Route 234 Business – also known as Sudley Road – is being accepted by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

The study area is from Battleview Parkway and Godwin Drive, according to a release from VDOT.

On average, as many as 50,000 vehicles travel on the section daily.

Traffic congestion and backups in the morning and evening will be looked into.

A survey, which is available through June 16, and the presentation can be found on the VDOT website.

Officials are planning to finish and post the study online in the winter.
