Small Electrical Fire Resolved in Stonebridge Neighborhood

A small electrical fire broke out on a stove at 12121 Stallion Ct. this evening. The Occoquan-Lorton-Woodbridge volunteer fire department responded to the scene at around 8 p.m. Units from the Dale City volunteer fire department also appeared at the scene.

The incident was resolved by 8:17 p.m.

OWL Volunteer Fire Department chief Jim McAllister said that the units responded to the small stove fire and put it out without issue. No one was allowed back into the home until the smoke was cleared from the unit.

Despite the small size of the incident, neighbors flocked outside to see what the commotion was about.

Witnesses in the townhome development said that the home is currently being rented and is a poorly maintained house. A neighbor to the incident stated that there are continuous complaints to the homeowner's association about the state of the townhouse and that the landlord is non-existent.
