Snow Changes Schedules For Prince William Schools And Clinics
Schools and vaccination clinics across Prince William County are changing their schedules on Friday due to snow and ice across the county.
PRINCE WILLIAM, VA — Prince William County's schools and vaccination clinics are changing their schedules on Friday because of snow and ice. Prince William County Schools are closed, and vaccination clinics will not open until 10 a.m., according to a news release.
Prince William County Schools declared a code red for Friday, Feb. 19. A code red in the district means that all schools and offices are closed, and all virtual classes are cancelled. The county's SACC program will not open.
Students and teachers may opt to catch up on work, but it is not required, the school district said.

The county's vaccination clinics will open on Friday, with some changes. The vaccination clinic at Manassas Mall will not open until 10 a.m., due to potentially dangerous travel conditions, according to a news release.
Anyone who had an appointment scheduled at the clinic before 10 a.m. can come to the clinic anytime from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Those who can not make it to the rescheduled time on Friday can call the county's call center at 703-872-7759 and select option 4.

Any appointments scheduled at the Potomac Middle School vaccination clinic will go on as scheduled.
Those who had appointments cancelled on Thursday due to weather should contact the call center to reschedule their appointment. The call center can be reached at 703-872-7759. The center is open every day from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
