Sport & Health Club to Open Oct. 1 at Potomac Town Center

The new business celebrated its ribbon cutting last week.

Sport & Health Club will open a new Woodbridge location at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center Oct. 1, and the fitness center celebrated its ribbon cutting on Sept. 19.

A release stated that the new two-story center sports a four-lane indoor swimming pool, a Finnish sauna, locker rooms, cardio equipment, and other features, including: 

  • Synergy 360 system: seven workout stations and three suspension zones for total-body
  • TRX suspension training designed for the Navy Seals develops strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability simultaneously
  • Sports training with Keiser pneumatic zero momentum equipment
  • Fusion Sports’ new SmartSpeed, SmartJump and SmartScore system
  • More than 100 pieces of cardio equipment with personal entertainment systems
  • New Trixter virtual cycling bikes, Precor’s newest Adaptive Motion Trainer as well as Octane’s new Lateral X Trainer
  • Group fitness and virtual cycling studios
  • Kidz Klub with indoor climbing maze
  • Full basketball court

Over 1,000 people reportedly attended the ribbon cutting, including Sport & Health's CEO Mark Fisher, CFO Scott Thomas, representatives from the offices of Congressman Gerry Connolly and Supervisor Frank Principi, President of Hubert Construction Matt Shea, and Jeff Edelstein and Kevin Bednoski from Roadside Development.
