Staffer's COVID Death Mourned At Woodbridge Middle School: Report
A Woodbridge Middle School employee has died after a bout with COVID-19, according to a report by InsideNoVa.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — An employee at Woodbridge Middle School has died of COVID-19, according to a report from InsideNoVa. The employee was identified as Flor De Luz Cervantes, a nutritional services employee.
Cervantes had been on medical leave since January, InsideNoVa reported. Woodbridge Middle School did not specify when Cervantes died.
Students in 4th, 5th, 6th, and 9th grades are scheduled to return to classrooms in Prince William County this week. Many elementary school students have already returned to their classrooms.

The Prince William County school system is considered to be at moderate-high risk for COVID transmission, according to CDC guidelines. In February, Prince William County Schools has reported 254 COVID cases.
