Student Charged With Sexual Assault in Faculty Bathroom: Police
A male student allegedly sexually assaulted a 15-year-old female student in a faculty bathroom at Woodbridge High School.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — Prince William County police arrested a 17-year-old male student at Woodbridge High School on Dec. 5 for abduction and sexual battery. The male student allegedly went into a faculty bathroom with a 15-year-old female student on Dec. 4 and asked her to perform sexual acts. When she refused, he blocked her from leaving the bathroom before allegedly sexually assaulting her.
During the incident, a teacher intervened after hearing a commotion coming from inside the bathroom. The teacher separated the boy from the girl, and the school contacted the police. No injuries were reported.
A school resource officer at Woodbridge High School was informed of the alleged sexual assault on Dec. 4 and began an investigation. Following the investigation, the boy was charged as a juvenile by the Prince William County Police Department and then released to his parents.
