Two Neighbors Arrested After Argument Involving Knife, Shotgun in Woodbridge
A verbal argument turned ugly when two men who live on the same street cut each other with knives, and one of them fired a shotgun.

A Woodbridge man wanted by police for firing a gun inside a home during an argument with a neighbor turned himself in to police Tuesday.
According to Prince William County Police, 36-year-old Daniel Pierkarski and 34-year-old Denis Thomas, who both live on East Lawn Drive in Woodbridge, had an argument inside Pierkarski's home around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 20.
What started as a verbal altercation turned physical, according to police. Thomas reportedly stabbed Pierkarski in the upper body with a knife, and then allegedly took out a shotgun and fired a shot into the ceiling of the home.

Police said the argument continued from there. Pierkarski was able to get the shotgun away from Thomas, and then took out a pocket knife and cut Thomas in the arm.
"The parties eventually separated and police were contacted," police said in a report. "Both parties were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries."
