What a week we had in Woodbridge. In case you missed our coverage, we have a recap.

In our breaking news coverage from Monday, Oct. 4, a contractor was stuck in a trench that collapsed around his waist for over two hours. The sheer weight of the mud and the deluge of rain from last week were partially to blame for the collapse. Fire and rescue crews from several different Northern Virginia areas were called into assist with the situation. The contractor was pulled safely from the hole and was sent to Fairfax Hospital as a precaution. To view the full story with video of the contractor being pulled out, click here.

Dale City's American Wartime Museum received the green light from the Prince William County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, Oct. 5 to go ahead with their planning and construction of the area's first interactive wartime museum.
