What's Open, Closed For Veterans Day 2020 In Woodbridge
Veterans Day falls on Wednesday. Here are the schedule changes to know in Woodbridge.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — Veterans Day, a federal holiday to honor those who have served in the military, will mean some schedule changes in Woodbridge and across Prince William County.
Here is the schedule for Wednesday, Nov. 11 in the area:
Prince William County Offices: All county offices will be closed Nov. 11.

Prince William County Schools: There will be no school for students Nov. 11.
Local and state courts: Circuit Court, General District Court and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court are closed on Nov. 11.

Virginia Railway Express: VRE does not operate on Veterans Day. For more information, visit www.vre.org.
Libraries: On Nov. 11, the Prince William Public Library system will be closed.
Parks and Historic Sites: Leesylvania State Park will be open normal hours Nov. 11. Grounds of Rippon Lodge Historic Site are open from sunrise to sunset. Daily guided tours are closed for the season. The Manassas National Battlefield Park grounds are open daily from dawn to dusk. The visitor center is closed due to the coronavirus crisis.
Post offices: Veterans Day is observed as a holiday at the U.S. Postal Service.
Landfill/Recycling: The County Landfill in Manassas will open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Veterans Day, as will the Balls Ford Road Compost Facility, which will be open 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Residents may also take recycling to several drop-off trailers throughout the county.
Trash Collection: Check with your independent provider about trash collection.
