Woodbridge Woman Stabbed During Domestic Assault

A Stafford woman is charged with malicious wounding after reportedly stabbing a 23-year-old woman on Belfry Lane early Thursday morning.

Prince William County Police responded to a report of a domestic-related stabbing Thursday, Oct. 30 at 1:32 a.m. near the 3400 block of Belfry Lane in Woodbridge.

The victim, a 23-year-old woman of no fixed address, told police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, became involved in a verbal altercation. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and a struggle ensued. At one point, the accused retrieved a knife and stabbed the victim in the shoulder. Police were eventually contacted and the officers located both parties still at the home.

The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Lisa De-Borous, 42, of Stafford, was charged with malicious wounding and domestic assault and battery. She is being held without bond until a pending court date.
