3 Bellevue Theft Suspects Caught, Stolen Car Recovered: Police
Bellevue police caught up with three theft suspects Tuesday morning and found a stolen vehicle full of evidence, investigators said.

BELLEVUE, WA — Bellevue police apprehended three theft suspects Tuesday morning after a resident reported the group trying door handles along 111th Avenue Southeast, according to investigators. Responding officers spotted the suspects' SUV shortly before 1:30 a.m and it fled toward a nearby construction site and crashed, then the occupants ran away on foot, police said. All three were soon caught.
After searching the vehicle, police said it was "packed" with stolen mail, along with backpacks, a bicycle, tools and nine grams of heroin. The SUV itself was stolen and its dashboard was torn out, police said.
According to investigators, two suspects were booked into jail, and the third transported to CPS.
