Bellevue 'Chef Battle' is Thursday to Benefit Hopelink

What would a top chef make out of ingredients from a food bank? You can find out Thursday, as chefs from Bellevue Collection restaurants battle it out at a benefit for Hopelink.

The chefs are Simon Zatyrka from Koral Bar & Kitchen, JJ Ullakko from The Pearl Bar, Jeff Slemaker from Paddy Coyne's Bellevue and Justin Johnson from Ruth's Chris Steak House, Bellevue.

The event will be at the Eques Restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue, 900 Bellevue Way NE, and judges will decide which chef comes out on top.

Tickets to Chef Battle: Knock Out Summer Hunger are $75 and proceeds benefit Hopelink’s End Summer Hunger Program, according to a press release.

End Summer Hunger is Hopelink’s campaign to help provide low-income families with food for children who receive free or reduced-fee breakfasts and lunches during the school year.
