Bellevue Drug Bust Nets 410K Fentanyl Pills, 77 Pounds Of Meth

Seattle police and a federal drug task force confiscated a stunning cache of fentanyl, meth, heroin and cocaine during a Bellevue bust.

BELLEVUE, WA — A joint operation between Seattle detectives and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security resulted in a massive drug bust in Bellevue on Tuesday. According to the Seattle Police Department, the case began in North Seattle and quickly led investigators across Lake Washington.

Police said the task force served search warrants at several Bellevue locations Tuesday, unearthing an extensive stockpile of illegal drugs, including a stunning 410,000 counterfeit oxycodone pills. Police said the pills contained fentanyl, a synthetic opioid that can be up to 100 times stronger than morphine and is linked to a growing number of accidental overdoses in Washington and across the nation.

  • 77 pounds of methamphetamine.
  • 908 grams of heroin.
  • 787 grams of cocaine.
  • Two handguns, one of which was reported stolen.
  • Nearly $250,000 in cash.

Information about any arrests resulting from Tuesday's bust was not immediately available. The Seattle Police Department said the detectives' investigation is ongoing.
