Bellevue Police Arrest Man Accused Of Dealing Child Pornography
Detectives allege a 35-year-old Bellevue man was caught with over 1,000 images on his electronic devices.
BELLEVUE, WA — A child pornography investigation in Bellevue led detectives to a 35-year-old man and the discovery of more than 1,000 images at his home, according to police.
In a news release published Monday, Bellevue investigators accused William Dobson of dealing and possessing the images after serving a search warrant at his home in the 1800 block of 129th Place Southeast.
Detectives opened the case in mid-March, and investigators said what they found was alarming and encompassed hundreds of victims.

"This case is extremely disturbing, both in the vast number of images and in the severity of depictions," said Debbie Ingram, a Bellevue police captain. "In this investigation alone, there are more than 800 minor victims. These children suffer tremendously in producing this material. They are victimized again every time the material is viewed. Our detectives did an outstanding job investigating and building this case against the suspect."
According to Bellevue police, prosecutors filed two felony charges alleging Dobson possessed and health the explicit images. Police said Monday he remained in jail on $30,000 bail and was scheduled for an arraignment hearing on June 3.
