BELLEVUE, WA — The first day of school for Bellevue students in the 2019-20 school year is Sept. 4 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you'll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP.
The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences. You can see the full school year calendar with notes on important days on the district website.
Here are some dates to know for the 2019-20 school year*:

- Sept. 2 — Labor Day, no school
- Sept. 4 — First day of school, grades 1 to 12
- Sept. 9 — First day of kindergarten
- Oct. 14, 15, 16 — Elementary conference early release days
- Nov. 11 — No school, Veterans Day
- Nov. 28-29 — Thanksgiving break
- Dec. 23-Jan. 3 — Winter break
- Jan. 20 — No school, MLK Day
- Feb. 17-21 — Mid-winter break
- April 13-17 — Spring break
- May 25 — No school, Memorial Day
- June 19 — Last day of school
