Beware Of I-405 Closures In Bellevue All This Week

BELLEVUE, WA — Watch out for nighttime I-405 lane closures all this week in downtown Bellevue in connection to ongoing East Link light rail construction.

Some lanes and access ramps will be closed overnight in the vicinity of Northeast 6th Street. Crews will be removing framework for overhead light rail tracks during this construction.

Here's what to expect this week, according to Sound Transit:

Monday: The northbound I-405 off-ramp and the southbound Northeast 6th ramps will be closed beginning at 9 p.m. The north and southbound HOV lanes will be closed between Northeast 10th and Main streets beginning at 8 p.m.

Tuesday: The Northeast 8th Street on-ramps to southbound I-405 will close beginning at 10 p.m.

Wednesday: The northbound exit 13B off-ramp to Northeast 8th Street will close beginning at 10 p.m.

Thursday: The northbound HOV lane and the far left lane of I-405 will be closed starting at 8 p.m. between Northeast 10th and Main streets. The northbound HOV I-405 ramp will also close.

The northbound exit 13B to Northeast 8th Street will close beginning at 10 p.m. The southbound exit 13A off-ramp will also close at 10 p.m.

One right lane to southbound I-405 will close at 8 p.m. between Northeast 10th and Main streets.
