Bellevue Intersection Reopens Following Car VS. Pedestrian

The intersection of NE 20th Street and 140th Avenue NE was shut down for several hours due to the accident.

BELLEVUE, WA—The intersection and area near NE 20th Street and 140th Avenue NE has reopened following a serious car vs. pedestrian collision Monday morning.

According to collision investigators, the driver of a car was traveling eastbound on N.E. 20th and turned onto 140th and struck the pedestrian.

A male victim has been transported to a nearby hospital.

Eastbound lanes of N.E. 20th at 140th Avenue NE were closed for several hours, police said.
