Spirit of Bellevue 12K/5K to Raise Money for Scholarships

The deadline approaches July 20 for early-bird registration for the second annual Spirit of Bellevue 12K Run, 5K Run/Walk and Kid’s Fun Run.

The event is Sunday, Aug. 4 at Bellevue Downtown Park, and includes a Health & Wellness Fair, according to organizers the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds go towards college scholarships for local students.

People may even support the scholarships with their "Sleep In" Registration -- people can register for $45 and not run.

Those who register before July 29 will be entered in a drawing to win a round trip ticket on Southwest Airlines, according to the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce.

Registration is:
12K Run, $40 through July 20, $45 after July 20.
5K Walk/Run is $30 through July 20, $40 after July 20.
Kid’s Fun Run is $10 through July 20, $15 afterJuly 20.
Sleep In Registration is $45.
