FBI Seeks Serial Bank Robber Who Struck Bellevue, Seattle Banks

A bank robber who previously hit three banks in Seattle is now linked to a fourth robbery, this time at a US Bank in Bellevue on Monday, according to the FBI’s Seattle office.

The FBI Seattle Safe Streets Task Force described the man as white, probably in his 30s or 40s, 5 foot 10 to 6 foot 1, with a slim build and goatee.

He is particularly known for wearing a tropical print shirt and has a long ponytail. Surveillance photos show him wearing various outfits, including a hooded parka and ski cap. He regularly wears sunglasses in the robberies and has been armed with a pistol, the FBI said.

Besides the Bellevue robbery Nov. 5, he is suspected of robbing three Seattle banks: Key Bank, Sept. 7; Homestreet Bank, Oct. 2; and People’s Bank, Oct. 30.

He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is urged to call the FBI at 206-622-0460 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
