I-405 Ramp Closures This Week For East Link Construction
Beginning Tuesday, ramps connecting I-405 to I-90 will close in the overnight hours.
BELLEVUE, WA — Construction related to Sound Transit's East Link light rail project may cause some travel delays around Bellevue and Mercer Island this week.
Beginning Tuesday at 10 p.m., crews will close I-405 northbound lanes to I-90 to move a construction crane. More ramp closures involving the southbound lanes will follow. Here are the details from city officials:
I-405 to westbound I-90, May 28 to 30. Crews will close all ramps to reinstall the "traveler crane" over I-90.

- I-405 north to westbound I-90 general purpose ramps: 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-405 south to westbound I-90 ramp: 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-405 south to westbound I-90 HOV ramp: 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
