"Won't Back Down," about two mothers' efforts to improve their children's school, is appropriately the last Summer Outdoor Movie in the Park in Bellevue Downtown Park for 2013 on Tuesday night.

"Won't Back Down," a school-themed movie, is appropriately the last Summer Outdoor Movie in the Park in Bellevue Downtown Park for 2013 on Tuesday night.
According to Moviefone, "Won't Back Down" is about moms who are trying to improve their children's education:
"Two headstrong mothers (Maggie Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis) wage a valiant struggle to save their children's troubled inner-city school, but find their forward-thinking efforts hampered at every turn by apathy and systematic bureaucracy."
Activities start at 8 p.m. Aug. 20, at Bellevue Downtown Park. Bring your own lawn chair and snacks.
This week's featured nonprofit is Bellevue LifeSpring. They are in need of juice (100% juice only), tuna or other canned meats, pasta sauce, cereal, peanut butter, jam or jelly, cooking oil, toilet paper, paper towels, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes (all ages).Â
