Presidents Day: What's Open and What's Closed?
What's open and closed on this federal holiday, which is technically the federal observation of George Washington's birthday.

Here's a list of what offices will be open for the Washington's Birthday federal holiday -- commonly called Presidents Day -- on Monday, Feb. 18:
City of Bellevue:Â Closed. The weekly city council meeting will be held on Tuesday, with the study session starting at 6 p.m. and regular session starting at 8 p.m.
Bellevue School District:Â Closed through this week for mid-winter break. Classes resume on Feb. 25.

Issaquah School District:Â Closed through this week for mid-winter break. Classes resume on Feb. 25.
King County Library System (including the Bellevue and Lake Hills libraries and the libraries at Crossroads Bellevue and Newport Way): Closed.

Garbage collection:Â Crews will collect as usual.
King County government:Â Closed.
King County Metro:Â Regular Weekday Schedule
King County Transfer Stations:Â Open.
State of Washington:Â Closed.
Washington State Ferries:Â All routes will operate on a normal schedule.
Federal government (including the U.S. Postal Service): Closed to honor Washington's Birthday.
Banks:Â Many, if not most, will be closed.
Express delivery companies: FedEx and UPS will be open.
