Was Bellevue School District Right to Fire Drunk Teacher?
A middle school teacher who was found to be drunk at Chinook Middle School in Clyde Hill.

A Chinook Middle School teacher who was fired for drunkenness on campus is suing the Bellevue School District to get his job back, according to the SeattlePI.com.
The SeattlePI.com reported that physical education teacher Erik Schock was fired after being found drunk at school by an assistant principal in February.Â
According to the SeattlePI.com, administrators, who discovered at noon on that day that Schock had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and smelled of alcohol, said that Schock had a blood alcohol level of .05 at 2 p.m. An expert told the district that his blood alcohol level would have been .15 upon arriving at work.
Schock did not dispute being drunk at work, but argued that the district was wrong to fire him because his behavior was not against state law, according to the SeattlePI.com.

What do you think? Does the teacher have a case for getting his job back? Should drunkenness be included in "flagrant misconduct" under state law? Tell us in the comments.
