Woman Killed In Shooting At Sam's Tavern; Man Arrested
A woman died late Monday after a shooting at a downtown Bellevue bar. Police are investigating the crime as a domestic violence homicide.

BELLEVUE, WA — A woman is dead after a shooting Monday night inside Sam's Tavern in downtown Bellevue, according to police.
Officers arrived at the bar on 108th Avenue Northeast just after 10 p.m. after 911 callers reported the shooting and described a suspect who ran from the scene. Police found the woman at the tavern and provided aid until Bellevue Fire medics arrived, but investigators said she did not survive.
After searching the area, officers found the 34-year-old man police believe to be the shooter and took him into custody without incident just before midnight. Detectives said the relationship between the accused shooter and the victim was not immediately clear, but it was being investigated as an act of domestic violence.
