15-Day Cross-Kirkland Corridor Closure Changed

The closure in the Crestwoods Park area is due to a construction project involving a culvert replacement.

KIRKLAND, WA — A scheduled closure of the Cross-Kirkland Corridor has been pushed back to Aug. 12, according to city officials. The closure was initially set to begin north of the downtown area on Aug. 5.

The trail will be closed for two weeks beginning Aug. 12. from Northeast 100th Street north to 111th Avenue Northeast. The trail will be closed 24-7 as crews install a culvert and manhole north of Crestwoods Park.

A detour around the construction will take trail users along 111th Avenue Northeast and 112th Avenue Northeast for users coming from Northeast 87th Street.
