Celebration For Kirkland Little League Champs Wednesday
There is a send-off rally planned for July 18th as the team heads to Western Regionals.

KIRKLAND, WA - From The City of Kirkland: The City of Kirkland is honoring the combined Kirkland American Little League (KALL) and Kirkland National Little League (KNLL) Softball Majors All-Star team at a send-off rally on Wednesday, July 18 at 6 p.m. at the Marina Park Pavilion, 25 Lakeshore Plaza Drive, Kirkland. Mayor Amy Walen will be speaking, and the community is invited to cheer on the team as they take another step toward the Little League World Series.
“These talented girls are Washington State champions, and we are proud to support them as they compete in the Western Region on a path to the World Series championship,” said Mayor Walen. “This is an exciting achievement and I encourage our community to join me at the rally to show support and wish them well as they head to California for the regional tournament.”
The team won the District 9 Little League tournament and Washington State Little League tournament, and now is traveling to San Bernardino, CA to represent the State of Washington in the Western Regional Little League Tournament against eleven other teams from the Western Region. The winner of this tournament will go on to play in the Little League World Series.
