Dough Zone Coming To Downtown Kirkland

KIRKLAND, WA — Is Dough Zone better than Din Tai Fung? That's a question Kirkland soup dumpling fans (or newbies) will be able to answer soon.

The local soup dumpling chain will open its sixth and seventh locations in Kirkland and Seattle by the end of 2019. And though there isn't a Dough Zone in Kirkland proper, there are plenty nearby, including two in Bellevue, and one each in Issaquah and Redmond.

The Kirkland location will open by the end of 2019 at the Kirkland Urban development downtown — that's the one that's getting a Shake Shack. The new Seattle location will open this summer near Pine and 8th Avenue.

So is Dough Zone better that Din Tai Fung? There's been a robust debate, but you might just have to wait until the Kirkland location opens to find out.
