Fifteen Longtime Kirkland Employees Receive Service Awards
Police Capt. Mike Ursino received a 30-year award, while 10 city employees received 25-year awards and four received 20-year awards.
Fifteen city employees were recognized for long service to Kirkland at the City Council meeting Tuesday night at City Hall -- the longest being Police Capt. Mike Ursino at 30 years.
Each was presented a service award from Mayor Joan McBride. Below is a list of those recognized:

- John S. Haslip, Police Lieutenant;
- Grace A. Steuart, Assistant Fire Marshal;
- Barry L. Scott, Finance & Admin Purchasing Agent;
- Marilynne M. Beard, City Manager’s Office, Deputy City Manager;
- Janice Coogan, Planning Senior Planner;
- John Hopfauf, Public Works Street & Grounds Division Manager;
- Judd E. Tuberg, Planning Code Enforcement Officer;
